Redo & Renew Interest Group
Have fun while exploring a variety of techniques and tools to find new uses for unused textiles, clothing, and other waste fiber and fabric. Members share current projects, excess materials, ideas and inspiration. This eclectic group meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm in the DFG Studio, 2701 W. Superior. Floor Loom Weaving Study Group
This group meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 10:00 am-12:00 pm in the DFG Studio. We study various weave structures, are inspired by the group’s “show-and-tell” and get and give encouraging feedback on projects. All are welcome.

Beginning Weaving Evening Interest Group
This group meets the 1st Thursday of each month from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm in the DFG Studio.
This is a new group intended to provide support to beginning weavers to help them feel more comfortable and confident at the loom. This group is open to all levels of experience, but will be focused on beginning-level skill development. As this is a new group, the first few meetings will focus on what we will want to accomplish as a group. Please join us and help us get this group off to a good start! All are welcome.

Rigid Heddle Interest Group
This group meets the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:00 am-1:00 pm in the DFG Studio. Whether you are a beginner or have years of experience, you are welcome to join us as we explore this type of small loom weaving.

Knitting & Other Handcrafting Interest Group
The Knitting & Handcrafting group meets each Wednesday of the month from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm at Yarn Harbor, 4629 E. Superior St, Duluth. This is for all handcrafters to visit and show what we’re doing–perhaps you will also see something new to try!

Tapestry Interest Group
The Tapestry Interest group meets on the 1st Wednesday of the month from 5:00-6:00 pm in the DFG Studio. The group shares progress on individual tapestry projects and also discusses current events and information from the world of tapestry weaving. All are welcome.

Spinning Interest Group
The Spinning group meets on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 10:00 am-2:00 pm in the DFG Studio. This is a great place for new and accomplished spinners to share the craft. You are sure to be inspired by the color, texture, and technique that is shared.
