Väva! Veve! studio specializes in heirloom quality, eco-friendly linen textiles. Weaving on vintage floor looms in a small Minnesotan studio, Dahlberg explains that weaving linen doesn’t have to be scary or frustrating! You’ll gain a NEW understanding of linen and its capabilities while reducing your fear of using it to weave. Learn tricks to handle linen yarn and how to achieve the classic center stripe and Dahlberg’s signature hanging tab. Materials provided by Duluth Fiber Handcrafters Guild for one 24×24” hand towel using 16/2 wet-spun line linen. Participants warp Fiber Guild looms at the Depot Studio prior to workshop.
